Of all the chapters i have learned about in science my favorite part of the Weather and Climate (Earth's Atmosphere) section was when we learned about earths winds. My favorite part of the Weathering and Erosion section was when we made the podcasts with our groups. My favorite part of the Earth's Waters section was the supply and demand experiment. My favorite part of the Astronomy section was learning about black holes. Finally, my favorite part of the Geology section was learning about different types of rock hardness and how to find how hard a rock is. in all my favorite section for the hole year was the Astronomy section because space and whats in it has always astounded me.

Water cycle

the water cycle is a continuous cycle. a puddle might be sitting on the street one fin sunny day and within a few hours the puddle will have evaporated then as the water vapor rises it cools and condenses into clouds. after the water vapor has condensed it will then start to fall back as rain and become a puddle again.

Penny Lab

Place a drop of water on a penny and see how many you can fit befor the water flows over the side.

about 4-6 drops could stay

24 drops stayed

the water has surface tension a witch keeps it from flowing all over and it has co heshon too witch makes it stick to the penny.

the ogallala aquifer

On my visit to the ogallala aquifer on the great planes. I visited the ogallala because i was studding it for science to discover how the great planes soke up water into aquifers. The aquifer is underground and extremely large. this aquifer the largest fresh water aquifer in the U.S. This aquifer revels that earth has little fresh water. people are using the aquifer far too fast for the aquifer to replenish itself witch means that the aquifer will soon run out.
